Teacher and Students will gain perspective and understanding of each other within the classroom

Procedure

I will start today off by explaining a little bit more about myself. Hopefully by the end of this introduction, you will understand what you are getting into for this semester.
1. During this time, I will explain daily procedures and expectations
Following this, we will have our first "discussion circle" of the year.
1. We will start out with a short practice "discussion circle" that is not relevant to anything.
2. During the real discussion, we will establish the following
  1. Norms
  2. Core Values
Canvas Quest
1. Answer all questions from the webquest
To finish today, students will complete their name card using the questions in today's assignment (Name Card!) and the markers/paper provided.
1. This will be your first grade of the semester
Once everyone has finished, we will go around sharing the info on your cards.
